Angel Island State Park
Take a short ferry ride from San Francisco, Tiburon, Oakland or Alameda to heavenly Angel Island. Known for diverse activities, history and stunning views, it offers miles of hiking, tram and Segway tours, biking, sea trekking and picnicking. A microcosm of U.S. history, Angel Island was the hunting ground for the Miwoks and was involved in the Civil War, Spanish-American War, and both World Wars.
