Live Your Best Life
This seminar is designed to provide practical tools for living your best life through optimal health.
Be prepared to have your 5 senses activated in this multi-sensorial experiential workshop which takes a scientific and evidence-based approach to living your best life. Based on Dr. Brad's 6 Pillars of Healthy Living and 15 years of research and clinical experience, you will discover which factors best improve memory, mental focus, sleep quality, attitude, and ability to bounce back during challenging times. You will learn the physiology of stress and resilience, the latest science on brain plasticity and memory, how technology and lifestyle influence sleep quality and mental focus.
Using Dr. Brad's 6 Pillars of Healthy Living assessment, you will identify the pillars most likely to help you sustain high performance, satisfaction and work-life integration. You will observe a brain-body hacking exercise that reveals the stress response physiology of one of your colleagues, and experience mind-body exercises that simultaneously heighten mental focus and relaxation. You will leave with the framework for understanding which domains are most relevant to you.
"Tuesdays to your Health" is a monthly lecture series hosted by Dr. Brad Jacobs at the Cavallo Point Healing Arts Center & Spa; every second Tuesday of the month from 6:30–7:30 pm. Topics vary, lectures are complimentary and all are welcome to attend. Tea will also be served.
