Living a Good Life
New Dates Added!
In 2009, two sessions of the seminar, Living a Good Life were successfully offered at Cavallo Point. Participants, with widely diverse backgrounds, came from many parts of the world to explore life's deeper meaning and ask themselves, "what's next?" All arrived having read the advanced reading at least once.
The seminar's success derives from reading and studying the wisdom of great philosophers, poets, playwrights, psychologists, and other scientists. Experienced co-moderators assist the seminarians in gleaning right understanding from the collective wisdom of great minds and applying it to their individual life journey. Each participant is invited to examine where he or she is on their life lines and how best the future years might be lived. The seminar is restricted to 20 people, an ideal size for discussion around a common table.
|
| Ingredients of the seminar's success: |
| • |
Extracting wisdom from the text and readings. |
| • |
Bringing forth the group's collective knowledge and experience. |
| • |
Helping individuals find their future good life path. |
|
The next seminar is now open for enrollment; we look forward to seeing you at the common table.
Sincerely,
John O'Neil, Co-Moderator •
Pete Thigpen, Co-Moderator •
Janet Oh, Coordinator |
