Ayurveda and Yoga: The Five Elements of Healing

Dr. Claudia Welch and Scott Blossom, L.Ac.

October 5 - 10, 2008

About the Program

In an age where we increasingly confuse stress with energy and ballast with nourishment, Ayurveda and yoga offer compatible views and tools to achieve balance. In this five-night, four-day retreat, Dr. Claudia Welch and Scott Blossom combine modern perspective with ancient, practical wisdom using the Five Elements of Ayurveda -- yoga, breath, diet, lifestyle and understanding. They demystify the ancient practices of Ayurveda and provide you with a custom lifestyle program that can be practiced with ease in day-to-day life. This retreat includes instruction in asana (yoga poses), prana (breath), a demonstration cooking class and lectures.
