Robert Thurman, President of the Tibet House, President of the American Institute of Buddhist Studies and Professor of Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies at Columbia University, will lead a workshop on the Teaching of Vimalakirti and the Yoga of Daily Living. In this two-day immersion, the group studies the Vimalakirti Sutra and relates it to living an engaged and happy life in today's world. Vimalakirti, a wise Buddhist layman, is a renowned icon for living a life of successful worldly presence while developing body, mind, and spirit toward enlightenment.
