About the Program

If you're a golf fan who appreciates phenomenal food, this is the program for you. Josh Zander, a golf pro voted one of the 'Top Teaching Professionals Under 40' by Golf Digest magazine teams up with Lisa Rogovin, the Bay Area's Epicurean Concierge to host a small group for four straight days of gourmet food, great golf and fine wine. Guests will learn techniques from a master golf pro at the famed Presidio and Stanford Golf Courses, and tour behind the scenes at the San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace. This getaway culminates with a reception and grand finale dinner in Cavallo Point's elegant Bacchus Room.

Bio

Josh Zander is a Class A PGA Teaching Professional at Stanford University Golf Course and Presidio Golf Course. As a member of the Golf Digest Magazine Pro Panel, he contributes articles on a regular basis. In 2007, Josh was voted one of the top 20 teachers under the age of 40 in America, one of the best teachers in the State of California, and the top-ranked instructor in the San Francisco Bay Area by Golf Digest. Josh graduated from Stanford University in 1990 and played on the Varsity Golf Team, where he was an Academic All-American. Before turning his attention to teaching in 1994, Josh was a touring professional on the Asian, South American and Golden State Tours. In 1992 Josh qualified and played in the United States Open Championship at Pebble Beach.

Lisa Rogovin brings a lifetime of passion to In the Kitchen with Lisa, her culinary adventure tours of San Francisco. For over 16 years, Lisa's life has truly been an epicurean adventure. She's been a representative and blogger for Gourmet magazine. In addition, as a food host of 'Best of San Francisco' on www.tentoe.tv, she's traveled to five continents in seven months on her own global culinary adventure. A longtime California resident, Lisa has a vast knowledge of the San Francisco Bay Area local food scene.
