Sophia and Mike, A Multicultural Affair

by Jessica on October 22nd, 2012 in Real Weddings | No Comments

Sophia and Mike’s September wedding took place on a beautiful sunny day, and brought together her Taiwanese culture with his Persian one.  It was lovely to see the tradition woven through the details of the day starting with them including a tea ceremony into the wedding ceremony, and having cultural tables prepared by their respective mothers in the foyer of the ballroom.

The decor of the day was kept simple with flowers in shades of soft pink and lavender, and a personalized Golden Gate Bridge logo on all of their printed materials to tie everything together.  Beautiful photography by Janae Shields, and event coordination by Lisa McNichol of And Something Blue.
