Book Signing and Wine Reception with Susan Gottlieb

Cavallo Point Art Gallery is proud to host a private wine reception with Susan Gottlieb and Audubon California as Susan signs the book she photographed, “The Gottlieb Native Garden: A California Love Story.” Susan is also a dedicated environmentalist and garden creator. Her renowned creation, the Gottlieb Native Garden, is a Certified Wildlife Habitat of the National Wildlife Federation. A portion of book sale proceeds will benefit Audubon California.The event also features “Flock,” a new photography exhibit focused on birding, by photographer, artist and conservationist Robert E. Stevenson. Attendance is limited.

Originally from Canada, Susan was a nurse for many years in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In 1990, she created the Gottlieb Native Garden, revered within Los Angeles’s environmental community. Susan is on the President’s Advisory Council for the National Wildlife Federation, and the Board of Directors of Audubon California and Friends of Ballona Wetlands. In 2008, she and her husband Dan started The G2 Gallery, a nature and wildlife photography gallery in Venice, California, that donates all proceeds of art sales to environmental causes.
