ROOMS
Front Office
The Front Office at Cavallo Point Lodge – with the ambition of providing the highest level of customer service – is looking for:
- Reservationist – Responsible for taking reservations and accurately inputting the information into the hotels reservations system. Answers inquiries regarding room rates, special packages, promotions and amenities. Must consistently maintain knowledge of the hotel facilities, locations, San Francisco and the wine country. Handles all guest requests in a professional manner. General administrative duties will include mail distribution, incoming and outgoing mail, filing, organizing materials and maintaining supplies. Minimum 1 year experience in reservations in the Hospitality field preferred. Must be able to multi-task and have excellent communication skills both oral and written. Housekeeping
Housekeeping at Cavallo Point Lodge, with the ambitions of providing a highest level of customer service, is looking for:
- Housekeeping Supervisor – Oversees the housekeeping staff and cleanliness of the rooms and ensure room cleanliness quality. Will delegate duties and assignments to the staff based on business needs. This position reports to Executive Housekeeper; resumés will be accepted through the closing date of February 6, 2012.
- Lobby Attendant – Responsible for maintaining the highest quality of cleaning standards to ensure that guest areas of the property meet the standards of the hotel. Provide support to all departments by collecting and distributing guest supplies. This position reports to Executive Housekeeper; resumés will be accepted through the closing date of February 6, 2012.
- Laundry Attendant (On-Call) – Prepares all linen, terry and uniforms for proper cleaning and distribution by folding, stacking and hanging in accordance with laundry policy. Oversees pick-up and delivery for guest and employee laundry. This position reports to Executive Housekeeper; resumés will be accepted through the closing date of February 6, 2012.
- Laundry Supervisor – This position supervises the laundry staff and monitors the operation of the laundry, promoting a safe working environment and quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, in addition to protecting the resort's assets and minimizing expense. The Laundry Supervisor will act as a lead worker in operating all laundry equipment, sorting, processing for cleaning, folding, and ironing to ensure the appropriate amount of clean linens are available to meet the business demands of the operation. - House Person – Upholds the highest quality of cleaning standards to ensure that guest rooms and all areas of the property meet the standards of a five-star/five diamond operation. FOOD & BEVERAGE
Restaurant
Marin County's acclaimed Murray Circle Restaurant at Cavallo Point Lodge is looking for:
- Server – Restaurant Server must have previous fine dining experience with excellent knowledge of food, wine, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Position requires excellent people and organizational skills, outgoing and positive demeanor, and the ability to handle the stress of a busy shift. This position reports to Restaurant Manager; resumés will be accepted through the closing date of February 6, 2012.
- Bar Server – Takes orders for both food and beverage in the bar. Oversees table maintenance, clearing of plates, and maintains beverage levels. Prior serving experience necessary. This position reports to Restaurant Manager; resumés will be accepted through the closing date of February 6, 2012.
- Host – Plans, organizes, and executes the reservations for each meal service. Greets and acknowledges all guests at arrival and departure. Continues to inform managers of flow through meal service to assure the smoothest service possible. Position requires knowledge of computers as well as ability to answer multiple phone lines. Prior restaurant experience preferred. Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends as well as holidays. Banquet
A place to break with convention, eco-friendly Cavallo Point provides an inspired backdrop for business meetings, corporate retreats and special events for groups of 10-300.
- Banquet Captain – The position of Banquet Captain will serve all food and beverage in a professional and courteous manner. Must have ability to communicate directions and work in a group forum to promote the most amazing banquet dining experience possible. Must be able to read and execute BEOs independently and with minimal supervision. Must have complete knowledge of the banquet menu assigned. Must have excellent wine and beer knowledge and be able to field questions during service. Candidate must be able to lead banquet staff to execute proper sweep sequence. Must be able to independently problem solve issues that arise in the banquet event room and work with line staff and kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Captains report daily for all functions. This position reports to Banquet Manager; resumés will be accepted through the closing date of February 6, 2012.
- Banquet Server – Must have one year of banquet experience in a hotel environment or a fine dining restaurant. Must have serving experience, knowledge of wine, and good communication skills. Must be available to work a variety of hours: days, evenings and/or weekends (based upon events booked). Must be available to work holidays as well. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours based on the length of the event. Kitchen
Cavallo Point's restaurant, known for savory Bay Area cuisine crafted from the freshest local ingredients, is looking for:
- Line Cook – Prepare work station, plate dishes as designed by the Chef. Required prior cooking experience in a fine dining environment. Must be able to handle high volume, yet produce impeccable dishes. A culinary degree preferred, but is not mandatory. Must have a passion for food and wine, and the desire to create perfection. HEALING ARTS CENTER & SPA
Cavallo Point's Healing Arts Center & Spa – which nurtures and inspires one's entire being through authentic Spa treatments and experiential learning – is looking for:
- Guest Service Agent (part time) – Performs daily opening, closing and/or mid-shift procedures based on scheduled shift. Provides guests detailed information regarding Cavallo Point services (i.e. all departments and restaurants). Checks-in guests for appointments and services. This position reports to H.A.C.S.
