Special Guest: Jacquelyn Sugich, L.Ac.

Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture has been around for over 3000 years for one simple reason it WORKS! Acupuncture has proven to be effective in treating over 300 conditions: Pain-arthritis, joint, muscular, migraines; Digestive- IBS, Crohn’s, constipation; Stress- anxiety, depression, insomnia, fatigue; and so much more. Please join us for an inspirational and informative talk to discover why acupuncture works and how you can benefit from this ancient medicine.

Jacquelyn Sugich, L.Ac. graduated from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine with a Master of Acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2006. She participated in a study abroad in China aiding physicians in the care of patients at a hospital. After graduation she had a thriving private practice in Santa Barbara, but in 2012 followed her wanderlust urge and worked on cruise ships, fulfilling two of her passions, acupuncture and travel. She joined Cavallo Point Healing Arts Center in 2014 and provides acupuncture, massage therapy and yoga instruction.

"Tuesdays to your Health" is a monthly lecture series hosted by Dr. Brad Jacobs at the Cavallo Point Healing Arts Center & Spa; select Tuesdays of the month from 6:30–7:30 pm. Topics vary, lectures are complimentary and all are welcome to attend. Tea will also be served.

In this experiential workshop, you'll learn how to identify and maintain the optimal level of stress to live your best. You'll also learn practical techniques you can practice at home that alter your brain waves, nervous system, hormones and biochemistry to lower stress levels, cultivate resilience and improve your attitude. These techniques have numerous benefits including boosting your immune system, improving sleep, reducing pain & blood pressure, and enhancing well-being.
