The Bay Area Discovery Museum is a one-of-a-kind indoor/outdoor children's museum that offers a full range of programs for children and parents alike. Through exploration of and connection with the local environment and the diverse communities that live here, children are engaged, delighted and educated. The museum features hands-on art, science and environmental exhibitions, performances, special events, cultural festivals and ongoing educational curricula... all with a focus on fun!

Now here's a place for kids to really jump around – and the more the better! House of Air is an indoor trampoline park located in the historic airplane hangar at West Crissy Field in the Presidio. Its athletic and recreational facility offers open trampoline jump time, aerial and physical training on trampolines, trampoline dodgeball and fitness classes.

Founded in 1853, the Academy is the oldest institution of its kind in the West. The Marine Mammal Center rescues and humanely treats ill, injured, or orphaned marine mammals, and returns healthy ones to the wild. Since 1975, the hospital facility has rescued and treated over 17,500 elephant seals, sea lions, whales, sea otters, dolphins, harbor porpoises and more. Tour a different kind of hospital, located in Sausalito, and visit its seal and sea lion patients.
While the family that eats together stays together, the family that cooks together has lots more fun! Enjoy a cooking class, family-style, at our acclaimed Cooking School. The learning, recipes and experience are appropriate for all ages, with a parent. Then sit down and savor the fruits of your family labors at a tasty three-course meal.
Take a fresh look at one of the world's most iconic sights – the famous Golden Gate Bridge, completed in 1937. No visit to the Bay Area is complete without time spent on the Rock, one of San Francisco's most popular (and notorious) attractions. Rich in history, Alcatraz Island offers a close-up look at the site of the first lighthouse and U.S.-built fort on the West Coast, the infamous federal penitentiary long off-limits to the public, and the 18-month occupation of Indians of All Tribes, after which the official U.S. government policy became that of Indian self-determination.

Tickets to this very popular attraction often sell out, so we recommend you book your visit well in advance. The tour lasts a minimum of 2-2.5 hours.
Located in the Berkeley Marina, OCSC Sailing is a San Francisco Bay sailing school and club that offers private sailing lessons, sailboat instruction, charters and more.
