LOVE SONG FOR THE BEACH
Josie Iselin

January 6 – March 31, 2012
Come view a visual "Love Song for the Beach," by San Francisco artist Josie Iselin. Author of seven books, Josie is a writer, designer and photographer. Using her flatbed scanner and computer, Josie creates captivating images that celebrate the ordinary wonders she finds at the beach. To her, the beach is a gateway to another world – a portal to the ocean where she discovers one "magnificent surprise" after another. This exhibit includes photographs from Josie's book, Beach: A Book of Treasure. In it, she describes her awe of the beach and the pleasure she finds in beachcombing – what she calls "the slow meander." josieiselin.com
