Exclusive Dining Series


Cavallo Point is pleased to present an exciting dining series called Chef's Counter, offering a memorable three-hour evening event welcoming up to six guests. The exclusive, chef-driven experience showcases an evening full of exceptional food and wine that begins with hors d'oeuvres and Champagne, followed by an exquisite meal of four courses along with wine pairings from our Wine Spectator Grand Award-winning wine cellar.

Seated at the Cooking School's intimate counter, guests enjoy curated, high-end dining, interacting with and learning from the chef as he deftly prepares each dish before them. This special event blends the best elements of an evening at an acclaimed restaurant and a private chef experience in your home. The result is a unique occasion and elevated meal from Head Chef Tony Adams, who attends to his guests and cooking with equal care and attention. Here, the Chef's focus is on the six guests in the room and ensuring their experience is unlike any other in the Bay Area. It's a special occasion for guests and chefs as well, says Chef Tony, allowing "chefs to cook what they love in their hearts."

A Walk Through the Autumn Forest

Autumn is a time when food is most celebrated, and nothing says "autumn" more than a hike on a crisp fall morning with the sun shining from above and Mother Nature's most tasty gifts at our feet. October's Chef's Counter centers around that walk through the woods, matching the best wild foods that could be found on an excursion through those Northern California trails. From the wild mushrooms foraged on the nearby mountains, to the freshwater fish in our streams, and game which lives off the paradise of land out our back door, it's sure to be a treat handed to us by Mother Nature herself.


Eating the Bay

Sunday, November 12 • 6:30 p.m.
As the weather cools down and with the holidays right around the corner, November is a time for celebrating all that this land has given us. This Chef's Counter event features a menu focused on the finest local ingredients from the Ocean to the Mountains which surround us, and the farmers' fields which dot our incredible landscape. With ingredients solely sourced from the Bay Area, the farms and fisherman we work with will show you what a foodie paradise this is!


The Luxury of Simplicity

Saturday, December 9 • 6:30 p.m.
The end of the year calls for reflection, celebration and spending time with those close to us. December's Chef's Counter event revolves around the idea of "The Luxury of Simplicity" and will feature dishes that seem elementary at first glance, but highlight the beauty of a simple preparation of a perfect ingredient. In addition, to maximize the celebration of another year completed successfully, supplemental caviar and truffle additions will be offered to add to the experience. Truly luxurious ingredients for this special occasion.

Cancellations less than seven days in advance will result in the forfeiture of the full cost of the dinner. A credit card will be required to secure your reservation.
