Just because summer is over doesn't mean you get to retire your canning pot! Apples, pears and quince arrive quite conveniently after you've jarred up all of those tomatoes and cucumbers and need a heartier fruit to turn to. In this workshop, we make apple sauce with no added sugar. Another favorite recipe is the honeyed pears with ginger (or spiced as you wish). Lastly, we work with one of the most delectable fruits of all – the beloved quince! We’ll make quince jelly and you’ll learn how to make membrillo!
