Private Group Events

If you’d like to host a private cooking class in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Cooking School at Cavallo Point is an inviting place to gather, learn, and indulge the senses.

Filled with natural light and state-of-the-art culinary equipment, it celebrates the love of food, taste, and cooking’s simple pleasures. The educational experiences explore relationships among local agriculture, farmers, ranchers, fishmongers, and artisan producers. With classes that focus on classic culinary techniques, seasonality, and sustainability, our mission is to inspire people to create, share, and eat!

The Cooking School offers several different formats for classes, and is able to accommodate up to 125 guests. Here are just a few examples of available formats.

Hands-On Cooking Classes

The Cooking School team has developed over 95 class curriculums on different culinary subjects; popular subjects include Cooking from the Farmers’ Market, Fresh Pasta Made Easy, Small Bites & Hors d’Oeuvres, and Taco Utopia. Prior to class, your group will be welcomed with seasonal nibbles and bites. Then, you’ll cook using organic ingredients grown within miles of Cavallo Point. All hands-on classes are 3 hours, feature local and seasonal products whenever possible, and conclude with a family-style meal that the class has prepared, with wines to match.
