The Cavallo Point Art Gallery invites you to celebrate the opening of Through The Fog, a new photography exhibit that explores the Bay Area’s most iconic, and elusive, natural phenomenon.
Join us for an artist reception in honor of the exhibit, where artist Maria Marriott will be on hand to share the vision behind her work. Along with Marriott, the exhibit features the photography of Christopher Erin and Todd Pickering, whose collective perspectives illuminate the beauty, mystery, and quiet drama of fog rolling across the Golden Gate and beyond.
Through The Fog is on display at the Cavallo Point Art Gallery. The reception is complimentary and open to hotel guests and the public alike.
About The Artist
Maria earned a journalism degree in Rio de Janeiro and later graduated from the New York Institute of Photography. Known for technical mastery and emotional depth, she has won top honors in international competitions in Paris, Tokyo, Budapest, Athens, and across the United States. Her style is striking yet intimate, with minimalistic compositions and monochromatic palettes that remove distractions and let the story emerge. She also supports nonprofits devoted to wild-horse preservation and equine therapy. Her work appears in Cowboys & Indians, Neoque (Italy), 65 Degrees Carmel by the Sea, and other publications.
