Join us for a complimentary evening with Jim Wood, co-founder of Marin Magazine and author of the new photo book Thirty Words. Sparkling wine will be served as Wood sits down with Passport Resorts’ managing partner, Mike Freed, for a conversation about the book.
Thirty Words began with a garage cleanout. Sorting through more than 2,400 Kodachrome slides shot over five decades, entirely without a book in mind, Wood narrowed the collection to 196 photographs and organized them under 30 single word themes, from Love and Happiness to Gotham and Serenity. The result is a visual memoir built one image and one word at a time.
