Picnic Under The Golden Gate
11:00 am – 2:30 pm
Celebrate Labor Day with a classic picnic-style BBQ. Enjoy a menu offering tasty fare such as cheeseburgers, grilled salmon sandwiches, vegetarian chili, and picnic sides like summer tomato salad, pesto pasta salad, and more. For kids, there are all-beef hot dogs and mini-cheese-burgers. We'll be serving local Fort Point beer, wine, and picnic-perfect cocktails, while live classic rock from the Whitecliff Rangers plays in the background. Take some time for lawn games and to browse great goods from local Bay Area artisans.

Lectures at Cavallo Point
Throughout the year, Cavallo Point organizes engaging lectures for guests and the local community. Many are developed in conjunction with the Institute at the Golden Gate. The Institute, a landmark program of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy in partnership with the National Park Service, brings environmental programming to Cavallo Point and other venues.
