Flavors of Japan

Location: The Cooking School (upstairs from Farley), Building 602
Time: 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Japanese food is often recognized as art with regard to seasonality and visual presentation. Explore fresh ingredients, prepared in a manner that brings out the truest flavor of the ingredients and prepared to appeal to the eyes as well as to the palate. 

Menu may include:

Yakitori - Traditional Grilled Small Skewers with Marinated Chicken & Shishito and Shiitake

Oisshi Prawns with Seasonal Vegetables and Tempura Tentsuya Dipping Sauce

Hijiki Salad with Edamame and Avocado

Sushi Rolls - Sushi Rice, Toasted Seaweed, Avocado, Cucumber, Crab, Spicy Tuna with Pickled Ginger & Wasabi

Kampachi Crudo with Citrus and Jalapeño

Green Tea Ice Cream with Mangos and Coconut


Our public classes include a combination of hands-on work and demonstration.

Please note that if a minimum number of participants is not met 72 hours prior to the class, the class may be canceled and participants will be fully refunded. Should you need to cancel your class reservation, you may do so within 72 hours of the scheduled class start time without penalty and a full refund will be extended. If you cancel less than 72 hours in advance, the full cost of the class will be forfeited. Minimum age for public classes is 15 years old, unless otherwise noted.
